Collection: Meat Chickens

Every year we purchase meat chicks to raise for our own family to consume and this year we are offering the opportunity to purchase chicken for your own family. 

Our meat chickens are raised on locally sourced milled to order feed that is specifically formulated to their growing needs. This controls their growing rates, so that they grow a slower rate than those raised for the grocery store.  This produces quality meat for your family without any extra things you cannot pronounce, just chicken!

We have our birds processed at Tschetter Colony therefore are considered inspected meat and ready to sell to you. 

We are currently accepting 2026 orders! We only ordered 100 chicks therefore they will be purchased quickly - get your order in! This year each bird will be $30 flat rate and they usual range from 5-7lbs when processed - sometimes larger. 

The chicks arrive on April 9, 2026 and will be sent to processing on June 10, 2026 - perfect timing for the BBQ season.

The evening on June 10th we will be offering delivery of freshly processed chicken (not frozen) to the High River and Okotoks area.
